FAQ

The keys do nothing.

Click once on the video first so the page has focus, and make sure you are on a youtube.com watch page. The extension does not run on embedded players on other sites.

Can I change the keys or the speed?

Yes — click the extension icon in the toolbar. Hold speed goes from 1.5× to 4×, and the skip step is adjustable too.

It fires while I am typing a comment.

It should not — typing in any input, textarea or editable box is ignored. If you hit a case where it still fires, tell me which page and which box, and I will fix it.

Does it work on other video sites?

Not yet. YouTube only, on purpose — fewer permissions, less that can break.
